John Adams

John Adams is the Chief Economist for As Good As Gold Australia, South Australia’s largest bullion dealership. John has written and spoken extensively about macroeconomics, financial risk, public policy and precious metals (especially the silver market) including for Australian mainstream media publications.

John is also the co-host of the popular YouTube channel, In the Interests of the People.

In 2019, John Adams rose to Australian prominence when he led a national campaign that successfully stopped the Parliament of Australia from criminalising the use of cash above $AUD 10,000. As part of this campaign, John was invited to provide expert testimony to the Senate Economics Committee.

John Adams is a professional economist with a diverse career from being an economic advisor to an Australian Senator, a civil servant for the Australian and New South Wales Governments and a management consultant for Big 4 accounting firm EY.
